Sindrom Mermaid. Shiloh Pepin is a 10 year old girl that looks like a mermaid at first glance. She actually suffers from a very rare disease called Sirenomelia.
She was born, 1999 with a missing bladder, uterus, colon and vagina, and with only one kidney and one ovary! Normally this occurs when there is a malformation of twins which did not really suceeded to became twins. However miraculously she survided after a kidney transplantation to replace the malfunctioning one.
